Reutlingen, April 16, 2026 – During the Automobilwoche conference, numerous valuable discussions were held with industry representatives. It became clear that Krämer Automotive’s strategic direction is very well positioned to meet the industry’s future challenges.
A key success factor is the global production strategy: With local final assembly in Reutlingen, the plant currently under construction in Morocco, the new location in Mexico, and the main production facility in China, Krämer Automotive has a broad international footprint. At the same time, this structure enables flexible and largely independent supply to markets in the Far East and the West with a global footprint.
Another key focus is the use of artificial intelligence. AI is increasingly becoming a driver of innovation—both within individual business processes and across processes. The use of AI agents is also gaining importance in development. Krämer Automotive sees this as validation of its strategy to consistently advance AI throughout the company. Employees are already actively using AI in various business processes today.

The next step in Krämer Automotive’s AI strategy is to establish a shared, integrated database. The goal is to further improve the interaction between business and development processes, thereby significantly increasing speed and productivity.
