Project Buyer (m/f/d) – Automotive (China Sourcing)

YOUR TASKS:

  • Independent management of all procurement-related activities within our electronics, display, and smart-cabin projects
  • Preparation, review, and alignment of RFQ documentation (technical specifications, drawings, requirement specifications) in close collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Project Management
  • Intensive communication with our Chinese suppliers: daily coordination on technical questions, schedules, prices, and quality requirements
  • Obtaining, analysing, and evaluating quotations while considering material cost structures, production capacities, logistics costs, and economical lot sizes
  • Conducting price, schedule, and contract negotiations for prototype, sample, pre-series, and series scopes — in German, English, and ideally Chinese
  • Coordination of all purchased components in the project, including schedule tracking, risk assessment, escalation management, and supplier coordination

Project Manager Automotive Infotainment

As a Project Manager at Krämer Automotive Systems, you will take responsibility for diverse and challenging projects in the areas of infotainment, digital cockpit, and display technologies. Your role will include, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Conduct market analyses, assess existing and future platforms, and identify innovative technologies for our products.
  • Prepare independent proposal documents for OEMs and platform providers in the fields of infotainment and displays, including technical specifications and commercial cost calculations.
  • Take responsibility for the technical and commercial development of cost structures and specifications, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and select suppliers for components and subsystems in infotainment, audio, and display technologies.
  • Create technical presentations for proposal submissions in collaboration with the development team and manage the entire proposal process.
  • Plan, monitor, and control detailed project schedules to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Develop business cases to evaluate new projects and technologies in terms of profitability and technical feasibility.
  • Evaluate current hardware and software architectures (e.g., Qualcomm, Android Automotive, QNX) and develop integration concepts for online radio, 5G, eSIM, cloud services, and OTA functionalities.
