Reutlingen, February 17, 2025 – Krämer Automotive Systems GmbH, a specialist in infotainment systems, digital cockpits, and in-vehicle connectivity solutions, has received the German Design Award 2026 in the category “Excellent Product Design – Automotive Parts and Accessories” for the Krämer Automotive HMI Design Concept project.
Krämer Automotive Systems GmbH has been honored as a winner at the German Design Award 2026 in the category Excellent Product Design – Automotive Parts and Accessories. The award recognizes the Krämer Automotive HMI Design Concept – a project that exemplifies the combination of technical precision, intuitive operation, and aesthetic clarity. The German Design Award is the international premium prize of the German Design Council and is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the global design community. Since 1953, the German Design Council has been promoting outstanding design in Germany and beyond. With this award, the jury acknowledges the consistent design philosophy of Krämer Automotive Systems: technology must be intuitive to experience, crafted to the highest quality standards, and conceived with sustainability in mind.
In the development of modern HMI systems (Human Machine Interfaces), the Reutlingen-based company combines functionality, emotion, and quality—creating digital Krämer experiences that make vehicle interiors an integral part of brand identity. “Design is more than shaping forms for us.
