That’s new with us!

Reutlingen, September 8, 2026 – Hardly anyone could have predicted this starting grid: Felix Hirsiger and Finn Zulauf won the second race of the ADAC GT Masters at the Salzburgring. The duo started from 13th position in their Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 and ultimately secured their fourth victory of the season. We at Krämer Automotive are thrilled with a truly strong race by our partner team.

The conditions were far from ideal at first. After a grid penalty, Felix Hirsiger started the race from the seventh row. But already in his first stint, he made up position after position. By the time of the first pit stop, he had already brought the Lamborghini into the leading group.

After the driver change, Finn Zulauf continued the charge. The team also executed the pit stops flawlessly, putting the car in a position where suddenly more was possible than initially thought.

And then it really came down to winning.

After 80 minutes of racing, Zulauf was the first to cross the finish line. From 13th on the grid to first place – a race where everything just fell into place.

A victory for the whole team

Of course, in the end, the two drivers are standing at the top of the podium. A race like this, however, shows just how important the work of the entire team is. Strategy, pit stops, and in-race decisions must all come together just as perfectly as the performance on the track.

Hockenheim will host the season finale

With their fourth win of the season, Hirsiger and Zulauf are still very much in the running for the championship. Going into the final race weekend, they trail the leader by just five points.

The title will be decided October 9–11 at the Hockenheimring. It’s a finale that’s particularly close to us here at Krämer – geographically speaking – and one where we’ll naturally be keeping our fingers crossed. After their comeback at the Salzburgring, one thing seems certain: Anything is still possible at Hockenheim.
