As with Jaguar, our task here was to create a seamless combination of tradition and modernity. For this purpose, we have developed innovative infotainment solutions that are specifically tailored to the British classics and combine the robustness of the vehicles with elegance. This requirement is also reflected in the front panel design of the systems. With modern features, such as DAB digital radio or Bluetooth functionalities, we also bring premium young and vintage cars up to date with the latest technology. Particular attention was paid to the seamless visual integration of the systems, so that the impression of factory equipment is created. Our idea is to create a driving experience of the future without losing the charm of a classic.
The system has a digital 3.5-inch touchscreen, offers DAB digital radio (DAB+), full-screen onboard navigation, hands-free facility and streaming music via Bluetooth. The infotainment system has been perfectly integrated stylistically and technically. With the help of the ALNA antenna technology we helped develop, the existing FM antenna is sufficient to achieve DAB reception. The ALNA (signal splitter) supplies power to external active FM antennas and amplifies the FM signal to produce higher frequencies for DAB+ reception. Special feature: We have designed a front panel in the colors “Black” and “Silver” (brushed finish) for the system and thus guarantee excellent visual integration into the respective vehicle model.
The system has DAB+ and AM/FM radio, so you can enjoy brilliant radio reception with a wide selection of stations. The stereo sound with 4×45 watts and EQ ensures an impressive sound experience that fills the vehicle with rich sound. Music can also be streamed wirelessly and is transmitted directly from the smartphone via Bluetooth (A2DP). Full access to your own music collection is therefore guaranteed. The on-board navigation system gives the driver access to high-resolution maps and real-time traffic information. It offers a high-resolution map display with 800×480 pixel resolution in full color as well as optional arrow display, lane assistant and “junction view”. The precise maps are available for many countries and can be updated using the free “latest map guarantee”.
