Krämer Automotive was named the winner of the German Innovation Award 2026 in the category “Excellence in Business to Business – Automotive Technologies.” The award recognizes our Automotive HMI Concept. Following the iF Design Award and the German Design Award, this marks the third major accolade for our work. The German Innovation Award is one of the most prestigious awards for innovation in Germany. It is presented by the German Design Council. The focus is not only on good design, but above all on the question of which ideas drive real progress and which solutions truly make a difference in people’s lives.
The automotive industry, in particular, is currently undergoing significant changes. Vehicles are becoming more digital, smarter, and more connected. At the same time, there is a growing demand for intuitive operation and an experience that feels natural. This is exactly where our HMI Concept comes in. Technology should not appear more complicated; rather, it should become more understandable, more emotional, and more human.
That is why this award means so much to us. It not only recognizes our creative work but, above all, the strength of our team. Different disciplines, shared ideas, and a passion for breaking new ground are what make projects like this possible in the first place.
