Today’s infotainment systems have evolved far beyond traditional car radios and are an important part of modern vehicles. They offer numerous functions that go beyond the simple enjoyment of music. They now integrate information, navigation, communication, safety and entertainment into a single platform. Advanced technologies such as touchscreen displays, voice control and smartphone connectivity enable seamless interaction with the vehicle.
With our many years of experience in the development of car infotainment systems, we are your reliable partner for customised solutions. We develop radio-navigation systems for retrofitting in cars with a long service life (e.g. for premium classic cars). We are also a series supplier for complex head units, including integration into the vehicle environment. We take on the entire project management from the initial idea to delivery to the production line. We take on the product design, operating concept, create 3D models and prototypes, including the control elements. We support our customers with the entire look and feel of the system for optimum integration.
We define the hardware and software architecture together with our customers, select the necessary components, such as processors or communication modules, and ensure seamless technical integration into the overall vehicle system. This includes the physical integration into the dashboard, the connection of control units as well as the integration into the communication system, e.g. CAN functionalities (steering wheel remote control, on-board computer, etc.). Thanks to our international partner network, production quantities are scalable and can be customised to your needs: We manufacture in small quantities for customised and special solutions as well as in large quantities for mass production.
Our team develops intuitive operating concepts and defines the operating elements to ensure an optimal user experience (UX). We also design the user interface (UI), including all necessary translations into all conceivable national languages. We adapt additional functions or third-party solutions such as onboard navigation and integrate them technically and visually into the system. On request, we customise existing navigation solutions and adapt them to an existing design concept.
In addition, we integrate functions such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and accompany the entire certification process. We take care of all necessary certifications of the hardware for international marketability (CE, FCC, etc.). Compliance with industry automotive standards to ensure the highest quality and safety is mandatory. These include AUTOSAR, A-SPICE, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and cyber security standards in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434, which are an integral part of our development processes to ensure the reliability and safety of our systems.
From the first Request for Quotation (RFQ) to series production, we accompany our customers through the entire development process and ensure that all requirements are fully met in accordance with automotive standards. With our expertise in writing user manuals, we ensure that the users of our developments can operate the product without any problems. We design informative, multilingual and user-friendly manuals that also take into account customer-specific design specifications (corporate design). From the font, design and format to the choice of materials for printed products. In the interests of sustainability, we also supply the manuals digitally. Our service also includes the development of packaging that not only protects but also inspires. With creative design and well thought-out functionality, we make every packaging a part of the product story.
