Our product designs combine aesthetics and functionality. We attach great importance to combining technology and design in order to revolutionise the vehicle interior. We rely on customised housings, displays and control elements to constantly set new standards. We pay equal attention to quality and precision as well as stylistic integration by adopting the existing design idea, materials and look and feel of the entire vehicle interior.
Product design in the vehicle interior plays a decisive role in the user experience and functionality of modern vehicles. Our services include product design for infotainment systems, digital instrument clusters and the design of operating elements such as multifunction buttons, switches or controls in the context of infotainment, climate or navigation functions. We are involved in the development of the housing and the integration of multimedia interfaces, such as AUX, USB or wireless chargers and connection options for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Infotainment systems are central elements of modern vehicles, providing both entertainment and important information for the driver. We have experience in designing both standard DIN slots and customised solutions. We attach particular importance to maximising user-friendliness. The arrangement of the controls must be intuitive and easily accessible and harmonise with the user interface. Infotainment systems must also be seamlessly integrated into the overall design of the vehicle to ensure a harmonious appearance. Another aspect: safety. The systems must not distract the driver and must be easy to recognise and operate at all times.
Digital displays have replaced analogue instruments and are now part of the expectations of buyers of modern vehicles. Our design for digital cockpits focuses on clarity and legibility. The displays must be easy to read in all lighting conditions. A clear structure and high contrasts are crucial here. In addition, we believe that a high degree of customisation must be possible. The driver should be able to customise the displays to a high degree in terms of design and information. This has a positive effect on the rapid acquisition of information and thus on driving safety. When developing digital cockpits, we naturally take into account all legal requirements and regulations regarding the integration of standardised indicator lights (tell tales) in the vehicle.
The design of the controls in the vehicle interior requires special attention, as they are used frequently and represent a direct link between the driver and the vehicle. Important aspects include haptics and feedback. The controls must offer a pleasant feel and provide clear, tactile feedback in order to make operation intuitive and safe. Durability and quality through the use of high-quality materials and a robust construction are essential in order to withstand daily stresses and ensure a long service life. The design and aesthetics of the controls should harmonise with the overall design of the vehicle interior and at the same time be functional and appealing to the touch.
